Darksider, Ulic & The Jedi Chronicles

[The Redemption of Ulic Qel- Droma] * * * ISSUE #1 * A lot of Jedi died in the Sith War. Almost all the inhabitants of Ossus were killed. The Jedi have received a blow from which it will take centuries to recover. Their function as peacekeepers has been severely compromised. So too the Republic, whose cohesiveness has been shaken by the events of the great Sith War. Throughout the Galaxy there are signs of increased lawlessness. The Hutt gangs are more openly defiant, and freebooters and pirates operate with little fear of retribution. * Open with action: piracy near the Stenness spaceport. A hardened middle-aged bounty hunter named [name] and his equally tough girlfriend, [name], take on a space-pirate who is robbing a Stenness ore- ship. The samaritans have an ulterior motive -- the head pirate has a price on his head. We follow the two bounty hunters as they collect from the Hutt ganglord Bogga (seen in TOJ #3-5). * Cut to a bounty hunter dive in the Stenness spaceport. The patrons discuss the effect the Sith War has had on the Republic, on the Jedi, and on their business. There is more piracy, and more work for bounty hunters and mercenaries.
