Darksider, Ulic & The Jedi Chronicles

[margin, top right, circled: [uncertain: 65?]] [margin, red: Issues 1 + 2] [The Redemption of Ulic Qel- Droma] * * * * Open on a small scale, with bounty hunters in a dive on Nar Shaddaa or maybe in Stenness spaceport. [margin, red: Increase of lawlessness since the Sith War Open w/action: piracy on Nar Shaddaa. Increased lawlessness. The Hutts themselves are openly criminal.] As bounty hunters discuss the effect the Sith War has had on the Republic, on the Jedi, and on their business. There is more piracy, and more work for bounty hunters and mercenaries. [margin: Pirates could be opponents of Ulic the [uncertain: Ronin?].] Several warlords have run amok, invading other systems, pillaging unprotected worlds of their treasure. [margin: Play [uncertain: this?] visually -- a B-H has received a wound or been killed, lost his friend, etc.] * A tough middle-aged bounty hunter and his tough bounty hunter girlfriend come in and sit by themselves. [margin, red, bracketed: Or: Ulic vs a pirate in opener -- then he walks into the Meltdown.] The other hunters whisper about him -- "they say he used to be a Jedi..." [In fact, it’s Ulic Qel-Droma, fifteen years after his fall in The Sith War.] [margin: What name does he use?] Maybe there is a confrontation, or a duel, and the tough bounty hunter, who now goes by a different name, kills a vicious pirate who challenges him or tries to steal some Sith bauble he has around his neck. [margin, red, bracketed: see above] * We cut to an invasion, in progress, of the planet Onderon. A great battle as powerful brother warlords and their space fleet attack the great walled city.
