Early Sith questions & Freedon Nadd

Tales of the Jedi #6 (DLOTS #0) (Double Issue) 143 Issue #6: "The Freedon Nadd Uprising" * Oss Wilum arrives at Onderon with Tott Doneeta. Fresh conflict has erupted in the city of IzIz, as a group of Dark Siders foments rebellion against the new unified government. The Dark Siders are part of a Freedon Nadd cult that includes a large part of the population. Important military leaders are members of this cult. Master Arca is in a quandary -- as he attempts to mediate the battles, he is meeting a powerful Dark Side force that is confounding his efforts. * Galia, the new Queen of Onderon, reveals that her father, King Ommin, who is enfeebled and being kept alive in a life-support facility, may possibly be behind the Dark Side influx. Arca and several Jedi warriors have to fight their way to the old man, who has been removed by the Naddists to a secret location deep under the city -- where he is being protected by vicious guards. The pitiful old man pretends to be a prisoner and a helpless invalid - - then, when Arca's guard is down, he unleashes a terrible blast of Dark Side power, knocking Master Arca into a coma! [margin: circled A; brace alongside preceding paragraph] Immediately Dark Side troops take Arca prisoner and drive Ulic Qel- Droma and the others back to the surface. Ulic and the other Jedi realize that, despite his crippled condition, Galia's father is a powerful Dark Side magus who is behind the "Freedon Nadd Uprising"! Freedon Nadd cult takes advantage of the situation Covert operations + huge Dark Force [uncertain: army?] - open w/ preparations to take F. Nadd to Dxun. A ship being prepared -- his body in a [illegible] iron coffin -- Cultists try to steal it -- do steal it. Fires in many parts of the city... Terrorist acts / rioting ... looting Social order breaking down. Arca has sent for help -- other Jedis arriving {can be a whole group} Must get Nadd & Amanoa off planet. After cultists steal Nadd's body, Galia breaks down + reveals the truth about her father -- Arca visits him in "nursing home" [circled A] [circled B] [circled C] -- Ulic has to call for help need lots of Jedi + the Republic as well ]
